Every item on a Story File carries its source, its publication time and a link to the original. HAPPND never republishes a publisher's article body and never rehosts video — playback runs through the platform's official embed.
Wire agencies and publishers, broadcaster and institutional video channels, official government and organisation feeds, and open news-event datasets. Each source is registered with its name, country and type, and that provenance travels with every item attached to a Story.
Source name, country and reporting type — reporting, analysis, opinion, primary source, statement, live coverage and so on — are shown wherever evidence appears. We do not score publishers for bias and we do not claim to determine truth.
If a Story mixes up two events, attaches the wrong evidence, misstates a fact, or includes material you own and want removed, send the Story link and what is wrong through the contact form. Rights-holder requests are prioritised. We review, and either correct the Story, detach the evidence, or explain why we disagree.
Newsrooms and institutions that want their feed or channel included can ask through the same form. Inclusion means metadata, attribution and link-out — never republication.
